opened the Revere Candy Shop 70 years ago. Rastrelli's
is celebrating our 70 years in business by having a number of specials
throughout the month of October.

"An American Oktoberfest" Wine
Dinner
Rastrelli's Restaurant is proud to announce
our next special event. We will be traveling to different
areas of the United States for "An American Oktoberfest"
Wine Dinner. The
date for this special event is
Thursday, October 8th, 2009, and
it will be held in The Tuscany Special
Events Center at Rastrelli's, located at
2417 Cleveland Street. Reception and Hors d' oeuvres will be at 5:30pm,
with dinner to follow at 6:15pm.
Tickets will be available for this event
on Monday, August 31st and can be purchased at Rastrelli's
Restaurant, 238 Main Ave, Clinton, Iowa. If you'd like to order
the tickets by phone, you can do so by calling 563.242.7441
and pay with a credit card, and we will hold your tickets for you.
Tickets are $69.95 per person with the Iowa state sales tax and
gratuity already included. Tickets are only good for the October
8th, 2009 dinner and are non-refundable. Tickets must be
purchased in advance, and the last day tickets will be available
is Sunday, October 4th.
***Important Note Regarding Seating*** We feel the best way to experience our wine
dinners is to have a maximum of 6 people per table. However, if you do
have a group of 8 that would like to attend, we will do our best to
accommodate you. Any groups with 9 people or more will have to be split
between 2 tables.

The menu for the evening will be:
Assorted Hors D'oeuvres from 5:30-6:15 We will be featuring different beers
during this time.
First Course - Soup
Creamy Pumpkin Bisque garnished with toasted
Pumpkin seeds.
Second Course - Salad
California Caesar Salad made with classic
Caesar dressing and topped with Seared Ahi Tuna.
Third Course - Wild
Game
Rocky Mountain Elk Steak with wilted Swiss Chard.
Fourth Course - Intermezzo
Stoplight Sorbet Trio - Cactus, Cantaloupe
and Persimmon.
Fifth Course - Entrée
New England Lobster Boil: Fresh WHOLE Lobster
flown in from Maine, served with Drawn Butter and Corn on the Cob.
Sixth Course - Dessert
Baked Alaskan Flambé: Classic Baked Alaskan
filled with red, white and blue Ice Cream and Flambéed with
Brandy.
Wine representatives from Glazers of Iowa
will be on hand to introduce the wines, and
our Chef's from Rastrelli's will also be describing each course. Door
prizes will be given away throughout the evening as well. The wines
sampled during the dinner will be available to purchase or order after
the dinner.
Seating for this event is limited, so please call
